It all started when...

We first met on July 1, 2015 at Carrabba’s in Tempe for our first date and dated for about two and a half years before getting engaged. We moved-in together in June 2017 and then got engaged March 18, 2018 which gave us about a year to prepare when we got married on April 6, 2019. We definitely learned a lot more about each other while living together and also during the engagement so we were very ready to begin our lives together and take on all the different adventures. Even though we dated for 3 and a half years, we are still a newlywed couple with much to learn but firmly believe we have a solid foundation, the right tools and support system as well as plenty of love, to have a fun and rewarding life.

Things we like to do…

We used to be a couple of simple pleasures and creatures of habit but then with the addition of our sweet daughter, our free time has diminished. On an average week, we used to spend our time binge watching a Netflix/Hulu tv show series and occasionally mixing in a redbox movie. Can’t forget the nightly dog playtime and weekly walks around the block and also taking Otter to the dog park. We like to cook at home during the week and go out to dinner on weekends and try to do a date night at least once a month. There is usually a night out with friends or family a couple times a month since everyone dear to us lives either down the street or only a short drive away. We love staying busy with friends by going out to breweries or having game nights at friends houses. While it is cooler in the valley, we’ll try to get outside as much as possible which means even more dog walks, or hiking around Superstition Mountain but in the summer months, then we escape the heat by taking weekend trips to Flagstaff with our dogs. Now we are busy with our daughter who is a busy toddler, playing outside in our backyard like pushing her in the swing, she has her playhouse, or tons of toys, and limiting our old tv watching habits. We get out with her as much as possible so she gets different experiences but life looks a lot differently than a couple years ago! There’s more to us than just this but it summarizes us pretty well…follow our instagram account for seeing more of what we’re up to.

What we do for work…

Scott left his previous job of being a web hosting sales chat agent of 7 years in July of 2022, worked an odd job for 6 months that was very much not enjoyable, but then has switched to a premium financial investment consultant within Merrill at Bank of America in March 2023. This is a brand new industry for him and intense amount of things to learn but it will be worth it in the end. The first three months are spent studying full time, to take three exams, the SIE, Series 7 and Series 66 in order to be licensed, then can begin the actual job training for 6 more months. The position will be in a call center talking with certain clientele in self-directed accounts having service to sales conversations, which means previous work experience will play a big factor.
